Preston North End have added another friendly match to their pre-season schedule, with them facing Scottish Premiership side Motherwell.
The game will be played on Friday, July 24, at Livingston’s Almondvale Stadium (7pm) as Well’s Fir Park ground is undergoing summer renovation work.
Motherwell secured their top-flight status last month after beating Rangers 6-1 on aggregate in the Premiership play-off.
North End manager Simon Grayson now has eight friendlies lined-up for his squad ahead of the start of their Championship campaign.
Their first friendly is against Chorley at Victory Park on Saturday, July 11, before they go to the Sir Tom Finney Stadium to face Bamber Bridge on July 14.
Hearts visit Deepdale on Saturday, July 18, that the Lilywhites’ only home friendly of the summer.
Grayson’s men go to Southport on July 21, before heading to Scotland three days later.
They play Carlisle at Brunton Park on July 28, then go to Ashington the following evening.
A trip to Gigg Lane to face Bury on August 1 rounds-off the friendly programme.
North End have also announced that their Capital One Cup tie against Crewe at Gresty Road has been moved back 24 hours to Wednesday, August 12.
