Molumby's inclusion was one of seven changes to the starting XI made by PNE manager Alex Neil from last week's defeat to Nottingham Forest.

Andrew Hughes, Ryan Ledson, Tom Bayliss and Brad Potts retained their places in the side, with Hughes wearing the captain's armband.

Connor Ripley replaced the injured Declan Rudd in goal, with Joe Rafferty, Jordan Storey, Emil Riis and Jayden Stockley coming into the side.

An eight-man bench included Ethan Walker, the teenager having been officially recalled from a loan at Carlisle United on Friday.

Alan Browne was also back among the substitutes having missed the Forest game with a calf injury.
