Preston eventually came back north with three points in midweek at Bournemouth and it could be just the tonic they need.
The game played into their hands, hitting the Cherries on the break and PNE will need to find a different way to win at home to Wycombe.
I fancy them to do that though, and a convincing 3-1 home win can be backed at 14/1, with goal-of-the-season contender Scott Sinclair being 8/1 to score first.

Elsewhere, it’s another tricky weekend in the top flight, the ones the bookies love of course. Everton head to Turf Moor which hasn’t been much of a happy place at all for the Clarets this season, with only one win in four at home this season.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Toffees haven’t been great in recent weeks, being hampered by injuries at the back, though I fancy them to get back on track here at Evens.

With the rest of Saturday looking like potential banana skins, it’s straight over to Sunday, where I can see West Bromwich Albion adding another vital three home points to their tally against Crystal Palace.

They look like they’re just finding their feet this season and they don’t look a bad price at 2/1.

To complete the treble it will have to be in the North London derby with Tottenham looking tempting at Evens against Arsenal.

Jose Mourinho will have his game plan sorted and it’s easy to see them getting one over their old rivals who have been looking a bit lost of late.

The treble should pay nicely at just over 10/1.

It’s the Tingle Creek at Sandown this weekend, and the mighty Altior looks to start the season off in style.

He isn’t getting any younger though the field doesn’t look anything special and at odds of around Evens he looks a penalty kick to get his head in front. Have a great weekend folks.
