Harrop contributed to half of PNE's goals in January, scoring two and setting up another, his two goals spectacular efforts against Blackburn Rovers and Charlton Athletic respectively.

In the latter, Harrop also took the corner that led to Patrick Bauer scoring against his former side, with the two man of the match awards he picked up only bettered by one other player in the division..

North End's no.10 had an average rating of 7.54 for the month, which bettered three other members of the XI, in a team largely made up of Bristol City players.

It's been a big month for Harrop who started January by netting a stunner against Blackburn and he was given his opportunity in behind the striker against Charlton. He took his chance, his form proving that he was undroppable for the rest of the month, grabbing a goal and an assist against the Addicks before good showings in both games against Barnsley and Swansea City.

The Championship team in full was Dan Bentley (Bristol City, 6.99), Jayden Bogle (Derby County, 7.35), Sean Morrison (Cardiff City, 7.94), Nathan Baker (Bristol City, 7.77), Josh Dasilva (Bristol City, 7.16), Jed Wallace (Millwall, 7.95), Josh Harrop (PNE, 7.54), Jamie Paterson (Bristol City, 7.59), Said Benrahma (Brentford, 7.65), Lukas Jutkiewicz (Birmingham City, 7.80) and Nakhi Wells (QPR, now Bristol City, 8.04).
