Preston North End vs Leicester City team news: Vardy and Schmeichel lead star-studded line up

Ryan Lowe has opted for the same formation he used against La Liga side Getafe, using a 3-4-2-1 formation with skipper Alan Browne and Daniel Johnson in behind Emil Riis.

PNE have made four changes from the victory over Hearts in midweek, with Browne, Johnson, Bambo Diaby and Ryan Ledson coming into the side.

It is the last chance for Preston to get minutes into their legs before their season opener against Wigan Athletic on July 30.

Leicester have also named a strong side, with captain Kasper Schmeichel, James Maddison and Jamie Vardy amongst the star-studded line up.

The Foxes will likely line up in a 4-2-3-1 system, with Harvey Barnes and Marc Albrighton on the wings.

Former Premier Leage champions Jonny Evans is at the back for Brendan Rodgers’ side, as well as Euros champion Ricardo Pereira and French starlet Wesley Fofana.

Last season’s PNE player of the year Daniel Iversen is on the bench for the Foxes.
