Preston North End v Middlesbrough team news: Start for Jayden Stockley and a surprise return for Andrew Hughes
Alex Neil made four changes to the Preston North End side for the Championship clash with Middlesbrough at Deepdale.
Jayden Stockley was handed a start up front, while there was a surprise return for Andrew Hughes at left-back after five weeks out with a hamstring injury.
Darnell Fisher returned to the side after a three-match suspension, with Brad Potts drafted back into the midfield.
Ben Pearson was ruled out by ankle ligament damage and a one-game ban kept Daniel Johnson on the sidelines.
Joe Rafferty and Sean Maguire dropped down to the bench after starting in recent games.
On the bench there was a return to the squad for Josh Earl after injury.
