Preston North End striker Graham Burke set to stay out on loan

Preston North End are set to extend Graham Burke’s loan at Shamrock Rovers.

The striker’s year-long stint with the League of Ireland outfit runs out today.

A new loan agreement would see Burke stay at Rovers for a further 12 months, taking him through to the end of his Preston contract.

The League of Ireland restarts this weekend, having shut down in March because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Burke joined North End from Rovers in June 2018 and made 15 appearances before being loaned to Gillingham.
