Preston North End striker Callum Robinson earns another Republic of Ireland cap

Preston North End forward Callum Robinson won his third Republic of Ireland cap in the goalless draw with Denmark in Dublin on Saturday night.

Robinson came on as a 65th minute substitute at the Aviva Stadium, replacing Harry Arter.

The 23-year-old helped liven up a drab UEFA Nations League clash but the Irish had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

His North End team-mate Sean Maguire was an unused substitute, Maguire having only returned to action with PNE last week after a two-month absence with a damaged hamstring tendon.

Alan Browne was not in the match day squad.

The Republic of Ireland are in action again on Tuesday night when they host Wales.
