Early season games will be played behind closed doors, the Prime Minister having said last week that he hoped to see fans returning to stadiums from October 1.

North End finished the 2019/20 season on Wednesday night with a 1-1 draw at Bristol City.

The players will get a short break before returning for pre-season training in mid-August.
