This weekend was due to be the first one post-Championship season as we looked forward to getting stuck into the play-offs. The drama, the intrigue, the excitement. Instead it is confusion, frustration and eagerness to get back to watching our team in action.
Yet, as things stand, there is still plenty of uncertainty as to what will happen next. The league may return to action behind closed doors or it may be taken out of the EFL’s hands by the powers that be. It has not stopped clubs being linked with transfer moves.

5. Turkish giants want Huddersfield attacker
Turkish giants Besiktas are keen on Huddersfield Town winger Ramadan Sobhi. The Egyptian has been back on loan in his homeland where he was in form prior to the turn of the year. The 23-year-old is contracted until next year but Besiktas could look to move for him in the summer. (Yeni Akit)

Leeds United lead the race for teenage striker Charlie Allen. The Northern Irish ace is wanted by the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Rangers. 7. Owls players set for return update
Sheffield Wednesday players will get greater clarity on any return to training next week. The club are waiting to hear the Government’s update before stepping up preparations for a potential return to action. (The Star)

8. Promotion boost for Championship clubs
The FA will block any plans for a 22-team Premier League, which would have seen Leeds United and West Brom promoted but no relegation. However, they will also stand in the way of any proposal which cancels relegation. (The Times)
