However, his strike rate doesn’t compare to that of Burke, who is on loan from PNE at Shamrock Rovers.

Burke’s league goals have come at a rate of one every 33.20 minutes.

There is a catch, in that all of Burke’s five league goals this season in the League of Ireland came in the same game.

When Shamrock beat Cork City 6-0, Burke netted all but one of them.

The numbers have been crunched by PitchInvasion.net who are analysts for Euro 2020.

After Burke and Haaland comes Rangers striker Jermaine Defoe who has scored 13 league goals at a rate of a goal every 74.54 minutes.

Burke left North End last July to join Rovers on a 12-month loan.

He had struggled for game time at Deepdale after being signed from Rovers the previous summer.

Burke is one of 12 players who PNE currently have out on loan from the first-team and academy ranks.

The latest to be loaned out was keeper Michael Crowe who made his debut for Bamber Bridge in the LFA Challenge Trophy against Prestwich Heys in midweek.

Brig romped to a 9-0 win, ensuring a very quiet debut for Crowe.
