Preston North End given all clear in the latest round of Covid-19 testing
Preston North End have been given the all-clear in the latest round of Covid-19 tests.
The EFL reported that 2,858 tests had been done at the 24 Championship clubs in the past week, with three positive results. Those positive results were at two clubs.
In League One there were no positive results from the 297 tests done at the four clubs due to compete in the play-offs.
Likewise in League Two, 271 tests produced no positive results.
Players and staff are tested twice a week at EFL clubs, with the EFL now announcing results on a Wednesday lunchtime.
The Championship restarted last Saturday, while the League Two play-off semi-finals have already been played.
In League One, the play-off semi-finals are being played in early July.
