Preston North End to get cash boost as Josh Brownhill moves to Burnley from Bristol City
Brownhill left Deepdale to sign for the Robins in June 2016 and saw his career develop well as Ashton Gate.
Part of the youth training compensation package North End agreed with City at the time included a sell-on clause.

The 24-year-old has signed a three-and-a-half year contract at Turf Moor and moves for an undisclosed fee.
Brownhill did have a clause in his contract which would have allowed him to move for £7m this summer.
Whether Bristol City managed to get a higher figure by selling him in January, remains to be seen.
