Pearson was sent-off after the final whistle for an alleged headbutt on Wanderers midfielder Joe Williams.

It sparked a coming together of several players, referee Andy Davies showing the red card to Pearson before booking Williams.

Neil had already reached the tunnel when the incident happened and wants to address it properly on Tuesday when the squad are back in for training.

Pearson faces a three-match suspension which would rule him out of the games against Reading, Leeds and Sheffield United after the international break.

"I had walked towards the tunnel at the end," said Neil.

"Generally at that stage it it handbags and people running about sticking their chests out.

"The game is done, if you want to be aggressive and get stuck in, do it during the game, don't do it at the end.

"I will deal with it on Tuesday - after a game when you come in emotions run real high for everyone and I try not to address things like that automatically.
