There were eight positive tests from 2,213 players and staff tested at Championship clubs in the past week.

The eights positive tests covered six clubs. Those individuals will have to self-isolate within EFL guidelines.

It is understood that there were no positive tests at Preston North End in the latest period.

The EFL are now reporting test results on a weekly basis - on a Wednesday at noon - having previously released two bulletins a week.

However, the Covid-19 tests will continue to be carried out twice week throughout the remainder of the season.

With games resuming this weekend, positive tests will now see players miss matches while they go through a period of self-isolation.

In League One, there were four positive results from 254 tests carried out at four clubs.

There were zero positive test results in League Two where 174 tests were done at the four clubs involved in the play-offs.
