Preston North End left-back Greg Cunningham has taken his first steps on the road to recovery from a broken leg.
The Irishman suffered the injury in the Easter Monday defeat to Norwich, fracturing the tibia in his right leg.
Cunningham had to wear a protective boot for a few weeks afterwards but is now back in the gym doing rehab work.
Provided all goes well, he will be fit to start pre-season training with the rest of the North End squad on June 29.
His injury came just three days after Tom Clarke was ruled out for up for 10 months with a torn Achilles tendon.
Tom Barkhuizen completed a trio of late-season injuries, with the attacker having undergone hernia surgery.
