Mixed bag for the keeper. Parried Ezes first shot in build-up to the opening goal, maybe unlucky with the penalty. Made two good saves. Returned to his accustomed right-back role. Defended okay, not a huge amount came down his side. Strong in the air, kept a close eye on Wells. Solid enough and proving a capable deputy for Patrick Bauer. QPR played Jordan Hugill up against him to try and lean on his relative inexperience. Better in the second half than in the first. Good to see him back after three big injuries this season but looked rather rusty up against Bright Osayi-Samuel Comfortably North Ends best player on the day. Took responsibility in the holding midfield role and wasnt afraid to drive forward. Service to the front was poor and the winger had to feed on scraps. Had a promising spell just after half-time when he got down the sides. Came close to scoring with a shot from outside the box which hit the back stanction. Didnt get as much as joy as he would have wanted Failed to impose himself on the game and it was no surprise to see him subbed The midfielder just hasnt sparked this season. Prevented from scoring by a great sliding challenge from Hall in the first half. Not happening for him at the moment. Didnt get much joy leading the attack with the QPR defence handling him well. Subbed in the second half. Bodin was the first substitute used and was lively, brought a good save out of the keeper with a volley. Carried more of a threat when he came on but didnt get a sight of goal. Livenedup the attack Was part of a double change with Nugent. Tried to add some creativity as PNE chased the game.
