Sean Maguire returned to the Preston North End squad after injury for this afternoon's clash with Wigan Athletic at Deepdale.
The Irish striker was named on the bench, it is his first inclusion since damaging a hamstring tendon in a pre-season friendly at Oldham on July 28.
Having him available comes as a huge boost for North End boss Alex Neil.
The PNE starting XI for Wigan's visit saw three changes from the side which played at Aston Villa last Tuesday night.
Injury forced Paul Huntington and Ryan Ledson to miss out, with Ben Davies dropping down to the bench.
Tom Clarke, Jordan Storey and Daniel Johnson came into the team, all having been substitutes at Villa Park.
PNE: Maxwell, Fisher, Clarke, Storey, Hughes, Pearson, Johnson, Barkhuizen, Browne, Robinson, Nmecha. Subs: Earl, Davies, Moult, Gallagher, Barker, Maguire, Rudd.
