Preston North End have made Shamrock Rovers striker Graham Burke their fourth signing of the summer.
Burke completed his move to Deepdale on Wednesday evening after undergoing a medical, signing a three-year contract.
PNE officials had travelled to Dublin last week to agree the deal.
The 24-year-old attacker recently broke into the Republic of Ireland squad and scored his first goal for Martin O'Neill's men in their 2-1 win over the United States - a game watched by Peter Ridsdale, advisor to North End owner Trevor Hemmings.
Dublin-born Burke began his career with Aston Villa as a trainee and had loan spells with Shrewsbury and Notts County during his time at Villa.
He joined Notts County on a permanent deal in July 2015 before heading back to Ireland to join Shamrock in January last year.
In Rovers' current League of Ireland campaign, Burke has scored 12 goals.
Burke follows Ryan Ledson, Michael Crowe and Jordan Storey into the Deepdale arrivals lounge.
He play his final game for Shamrock against Limerick on Friday before moving to Preston.
