Louis Moult believes Preston North End should head to Leeds full of confidence after their League Cup win at Elland Road three weeks ago.

The striker was part of a much-changed Lilywhites side that inflicted a first defeat on Whites head coach Marcelo Bielsa on August 28.
The visitors played for an hour with 10 men after Ryan Ledson’s red card but Daniel Johnson’s penalty and Brandon Barker’s fine individual goal saw Alex Neil’s side to a 2-0 win.
The personnel will be different this time around as second from bottom PNE look to upset the Championship leaders but Moult says North End will head across the Pennines feeling positive.
“We go into that game confident because we went there a few weeks ago and won the game with 10 men,” said the No.9 who was recalled to the side for the defeat at Reading last time out.
“We know we’re capable and there’s no reason why we can’t do it again.
“It was mentioned in the changing room after Saturday. ‘We did it two weeks ago so why can’t we do it again?’
“Yes it was in the cup but the teams weren’t that dissimilar so regardless of what happened on Saturday we have to back each other and believe in ourselves.
“It’s not one person to blame at the moment.
“We’re a team and stick together, that’s really important.”
