Preston North End's Ben Pearson and Jordan Hugill both scooped awards at the Leesa North West Football Awards on Monday night.
Pearson was named the Championship player of the year, the midfielder beating Wigan Athletic centre-half Dan Burn and Blackburn Rovers left-back Derrick Williams to the award - it is based on last season's form.
The 22-year-old established himself as an integral member of the North End side in the 2016/17 campaign, becoming a firm fans' favourite for his combative style.
His PNE team-mate Hugill won the goal of the year award for his solo effort against Aston Villa at Villa Park in January.
Collecting a pass on the half-way line, the striker drove through the Villa half before hitting a curling shot into the top corner from the edge of the box.
Fans voted for the goal of the season award on Twitter.
The North West Football Awards were held at The Point venue at Lancashire Cricket Club's Old Trafford ground in Manchester.
More than 550 guests attended the black-tie event which was hosted by the BBC's Dan Walker.
