Preston North End boss Simon Grayson admitted the team is low on confidence after tonight’s 1-1 draw with Yeovil Town.
PNE have failed to win since knocking Championship club Norwich out of the FA Cup earlier this month.
And Grayson said his men need to regain their confidence quickly.
He said: “We were a little bit off it in the first-half in terms of we didn’t get tight enough to people.
“Obviously belief and confidence in the players is a little bit low at the moment.
“It was another frustrating night for us, we have dropped two more points.
“Their keeper made a good save from Josh Brownhill and other things were just inches away from other players.
“We were getting there but we are obviously not playing with that belief and confidence that we had a few weeks ago.
“We have got to gather that back very quickly but we have still got 20 games to go.
“It is disappointing obviously for everyone connected with the club but we will keep going to regather the troops and rebuild their confidence and get back to winning ways as soon as possible.”
But North End are still fourth in the League One table and Grayson believes automatic promotion is not out of sight.
He said: “We have 20 games, 60 points still to play for. We’ve got to believe that we can still do that.
“People might not believe we can do it but we certainly believe that we can.
“Other teams I’m sure will have a run and lose points too.”
