Preston boss Simon Grayson has described Leicester’s Premier League title win as ‘fairy tale stuff’.
Grayson spent six years as a player with the Foxes and still has friends at the club.
“It has been an unbelievable season for Leicester – for them to achieve what they have is fairy tale stuff,” said Grayson.
“Everyone in the country was wishing them well and this has been an unbelievable story.”
Grayson praised the job which Claudio Ranieri has done, with the Italian working wonders.
“Nigel Pearson deserves credit for keeping them up last season and that momentum has been carried forward by Claudio,” said Grayson.
“He was very clever in keeping the backroom staff who knew the club and has got a group of players who enjoy what they are doing.
“A few of them have been around the block and until now, were not household names.”
