Terry Cummings put the Blues ahead in the 14th minute and Daniel Wilkins doubled the lead four minutes before half-time.

Hide AdLongridge Town’s game at Ashton Athletic was called off, but Charnock Richard were in action, winning 4-3 at home to Litherland REMYCA.
Carl Grimshaw put Charnock ahead in the second minute but the visitors were quickly level through Einar White.
Jordan Darr restored the hosts’ lead a minute before the interval but Michael White made it 2-2 in the 54th minute. Three minutes later, Charnock went in front for a third time through Spencer Bibby, only for White to make it 3-3 in the 72nd minute.
But a penalty seven minutes from time from Grimshaw gave Charnock Richard the three points.
In the NWCL First Division North, Garstang’s home clash with Atherton LR was also called off.
