Should Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions see off Colombia in the second round on Tuesday night then their last eight clash would take place on Saturday, July 7 at 3pm.

That is the same time as the annual friendly between near neighbours Brig and PNE at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium.

But plans are in place to move the game forward to 1pm should England progress in Russia to face either Sweden or Switzerland.

If England go out to the South Americans on Tuesday however then kick-off will remain the same.

The game represents PNE’s first friendly of the summer with games to follow at AFC Fylde on July 14, at Cobh Ramblers in Ireland on July 17, at home to West Ham on July 21 and Burnley on July 23 before the build-up closes with a trip to Oldham on July 28.
