Keith Keane has returned to Preston North End at the end of his loan spell with fellow League One club Crawley Town.
The midfielder spent three months at the Broadfield Stadium and made 15 appearances – the last of which came in a narrow 1-0 defeat at leaders Bristol City on Saturday.
He will not feature in tonight’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy northern area semi-final at Notts County as he is cup tied, having played for Town earlier in the competition
Keane told Crawley’s website:”I’ve really enjoyed it at a time when I needed to play games. The lads have been great and I’m glad I came to Crawley.
“Whether Preston want me to go back out on loan I don’t really know at the moment.
“I’d definitely consider coming back (to Crawley) but at the minute that option is not on the table.”
