Browne and Fisher link up after a throw in and the right back is felled as he looks to get down the right, a chance to cross.

Ledson’s free kick is over hit.

Potts into the side netting

A decent counter from PNE, they come back slightly before Potts is fed through on the right side of the box but his effort finds the side netting.

Howson is booked for pulling Potts back as he looked to get in behind.

Barkhuizen gets onto a flick on from Stockley, is one on one with the 'keeper on the right side of the area but his low effort squirms under Bettinelli with enough of a touch that the Boro stopper can reclaim it.

Although there has been little to update on so far tonight, it isn’t a bad game.

PNE are playing some nice football and are generally positive in possession, the game is only really lacking more clear cut chances.

Rudd down with his legs

Huntington misjudged the ball as he tried to shield the ball out, Assombalonga nips in and crosses low along the six yard box but Rudd is well placed to clear away with his legs.

Half Time: PNE 0-0 Middlesbrough

Not a lot to talk about at the end of the half, but it wasn’t a bad half.

PNE largely controlled possession and looked positive when on the ball, with willing runners looking to make things happen.

The best chance of the half came as Tom Barkhuizen latched onto a flick on to get in behindbut his shot was saved by Bettinelli.

Both sides are out and ready for the second half.

The second half is underway!

A low cross comes in from the left by Johnson, Davies reacts to it and it ricochets off him and just past the far post.
