Alex Neil can't wait to get back started

Preston North End manager Alex Neil is pleased to have reached the season’s restart after all the uncertainty during football’s shutdown.

It is PNE’s first competitive slice of action since March 7 and their focus is trained on getting the points needed to book a play-off place.

The first prediction of the day...

It’ll be vital that PNE not only start the final nine games strongly, but also this first game.

PNE have been known for some fast starts, especially in the first portion of the season so laying down a marker is completely within what they’re capable of.

If results don’t go their way today, North End could find themselves outside of the play-off places.

And now our man on the inside...

PNE Starting XI: Rudd, Browne, Bauer, Davies, Hughes, Pearson, Gallagher, Barkhuizen, Johnson, Sinclair, Maguire.

PNE Subs: Ripley, Fisher, Storey, Ledson, Harrop, Potts, Bodin, Nugent, Stockley.

Here's how the hosts line up...
