Preston North End’s Gentry Day tradition returns at Bolton on Saturday.

Fans will don bowler hats and suits having first been described as ‘The Gentry’ by PNE manager of the time Alan Ball Sr in 1970.

The days is for supporters to remember those connected with the club who have passed away in the last 12 months.

Ahead of this weekend’s trip to the Macron Stadium we take a look back at a tradition that started with a 2-1 win at QPR back in February 2005.
