As we all know, lockdown has meant no visit to the barbers or hairdressers, so there have been quite a few new hair styles on show at Springfields these last three weeks.

PNE midfielder Potts is sporting a different look to how he was before Covid-19 stopped play in March.

He’s grown a beard and has gone for the swept-back look on top.

“There’s been a few names shot my way during training,” said Potts.

“The best has been Jax from Sons of Anarchy and I’ll take that to be honest!”

There appears to be have been one or two DIY hair cuts among the PNE squad.

Potts said: “I think a few of the lads have had a try, let their girlfriends cut it.

Tom Clarke has had his all taken off, you know what he is like – he doesn’t care!

“He suits it like that to be fair to him.

“A lot of the lads have just let it grow, like what I’ve done. There are some longer styles and beards now.

“Andrew Hughes is one who takes a lot of pride in his appearance.

“He’s mentioned a few times about wanting his hair looking back to how it was.”

Potts isn’t only sporting a new look but he’s turned into a dab hand in the kitchen during lockdown.

The Northumberland lad said: “I’ve been rustling up a few different meals and been quite proud of myself.

“It’s all home cooked stuff, I’ve followed some recipes online and was pleased with how they came out.

“I’ll keep cooking , it’s another string to my bow.”
