It’s fair to say we all love the magic of the FA Cup and let’s hope this weekend can add a little warmth to what must be one of the most depressing on record!

It’s a change from the grind in the League for Preston, and hopefully it will spark a bit more from them this weekend.

They have looked laboured at times recently, whilst still managing to pick up wins, though with some more competition for places coming in with new signings, I fancy them to get the win, with a 2-1 away win at 9/1 looking tempting.

In actual fact, North End’s clash against Wycombe is my first of an FA Cup weekend treble.

It is an all-Championship clash and although PNE didn’t beat Wycombe at Deepdale before Christmas, they have improved since then and with new signings onboard, they should be up for it this weekend.

There will most likely be some changes made though and should he start Tom Barkhuizen could easily score first at 7/1!

I always say weekends like this are full of potential banana skins and finding the ones to avoid can be just as important as the ones to back!

This year calls for even more background reading, with Covid-19 depleting squads of personnel.

Sheffield United are very much down already in the Premier League, languishing on two points, though they will probably fancy a little cup run to try and squeeze a few wins into their season.

They travel to Bristol Rovers and should have enough quality to avoid an upset, so at odds of around 4/5 they look good value for the Blades.

Another top-flight side who should get the job done this weekend is Burnley at home to MK Dons.

Sean Dyche might use some squad rotation though it should be enough to see off the League One side who will have their own eyes on avoiding the drop in their league

That completes the treble which pays 4/1 and should give us a run for our money!
