LIVE: Millwall vs PNE

Best chance so far...

Millwall swing a corner in from the left, it is headed out as far as Kieftenbeld who strikes on the volley first time and it takes a slight deflection on the way through to see it over.

PNE head the next corner away.

The Lions play some nice stuff as they continue to grow into the game, neat interplay down the right results in Bennett receiving it on the edge of the box, he checks back onto his right and strikes at goal but it’s straight at Iversen who saves.

Emil Riis gets onto a loose ball and drives the ball low towards the left corner but Bialkowski throws himself on it.

Ryan Ledson tries a first time strike from range but doesn’t get it right.

Referee conducting a meeting of sorts

After having had a word with Ched Evans in the middle of the pitch, referee Kevin Friend went to the touchline calling over the fourth offical, both managers and a member of staff, seemingly a steward, from near the tunnel.

The fourth offical wrote something down and we may find out more later.

There will be one more minute added onto the end of the first half.

The first half ends goalless with little to shout about for either side.

Neither side have managed to break the other down in the opening 45, with both ‘keepers only really having one save to make.

How bad has it been so far?

For those that were unable to make the trip so far, it’s not been one for the history books.

Paul Merson is on duty in the TV studio and he’s said he’s considering a comeback on tonight’s showing so far...

We’re underway for the second half!

Big chance for Afobe

North End are caught out and Afobe is released in behind, his final touch is a little heavy and allows Iversen the chance to get his body in the way but the Lilywhites were opened up too easily.
