LIVE: Coventry City vs PNE

We’re underway at St Andrews!

Neither side have caused much danger in the final third so far, the ball is going back and forth though with no clear dominance.

Hamer crosses from the corner of the 18 yard box on the left side, it’s a strange angle for the delivery and it confuses all in the box but Biamou is there six yards out and manages to clear the crossbar.

Coventry come forward down the right, Lindsay clears but McCallum shoots on the loose ball and it deflects off two PNE players before going over.

PNE are under a bit of pressure.

Whiteman shot saved

Barkhuizen’s long throw is headed away and Whiteman looks to bend it low but Wilson parries the ball.

Ledson lets fly on the half volley on his left foot, it’s deflected and Wilson is forced into a good save one handed in the top corner.

Jordan Storey headed on Tom Barkhuizen’s long throw, Sean Maguire arrived at the far post and only just misses it, which would have seen him tap into an unguarded net.

Gustavo Hamer is booked for a high challenge on Ledson.

The ball falls kindly for Matty James around 25 yards out and he strikes his volley sweetly but it dips just over the bar.

Half Time: Coventry City 0-0 PNE

The sides go in level at the break, with chances for both sets of players though no breakthrough.

PNE’s best chance fell the way of Sean Maguire who narrowly missed getting on the end of Jordan Storey’s flick on from a Tom Barkhuizen long throw.

Coventry have also had opportunities, Biamou managing to clear the bar from six yards out.
