Robinson had surgery on Saturday to repair the hamstring tendon he damaged in the 4-1 victory over Blackburn.

He posted on Twitter on Sunday that the operation had been a success.

The 23-year-old is expected to be out of action for three months but that hasn't stopped him being linked with a January move away from Deepdale.

A national newspaper reported that Bournemouth were considering making a £7m offer for Robinson despite it being March before he could play again.

Robinson had scored 10 goals this season before his injury, nine of those in the Championship.

His PNE contract runs until the summer of 2020.
