Robinson qualifies to play for the Emerald Isle through his late grandmother and has switched to play for them after featuring at four age levels for England.

After playing in a testimonial for the Irish against Celtic in May, the 23-year-old was handed a competitive debut in Wales.

He started the game playing in a wide role before moving more central, Robinson's one sight of goal in the first half ending with him shooting over the bar.

In the second half he put a header too high.

Robinson was substituted in the 76th minute, replaced by former PNE winger Daryl Horgan.
