Preston North End attacker Callum Robinson comes through Republic of Ireland game unscathed
Preston North End attacker Callum Robinson came through the Republic of Ireland's Nations League clash with Denmark on Monday night unscathed.
Robinson, who is North End's leading scorer this season with nine goals, came on as a 65th minute substitute in the 0-0 draw in Aarhus.
After his PNE team-mates Sean Maguire and Alan Browne had been forced to pull out on the Ireland squad with injuries, it was a relief to see Robinson come through injury-free.
It was Robinson's sixth international cap, with him replacing Millwall's Aiden O'Brien.
The game was something of a dead rubber, with Martin O'Neill's side knowing they would finish bottom of their group with Denmark having already won it.
Maguire was injured in last Thursday's friendly with Northern Ireland in Dublin, pulling-up with a hamstring strain, while a shoulder injury forced Browne's early return from international duty.
