The Lilywhites were 4-1 winners over their Lancashire rivals on Saturday, with Tom Barkhuizen, Callum Robinson, Louis Moult and Alan Browne finding the net.
But attention quickly turned to planning for the visit of Tony Pulis' Boro to Deepdale.

Hide AdNeil said: "Afterwards even my family were saying it didn't seem like I was enjoying the win.
"I did for a brief moment but then I had Middlesbrough to worry about.
"We are on a good run of form at the moment and my focus has to be on maintaining that, sometimes if you enjoy it too much you can take your eye off the ball.
"It was a case of excellent, good result, now move on.
"That is the life of a manager in the Championship, games come so thick and fast."
