President's Cup collision as Ashton take on holders

Tulketh United will be looking to retain the Lancashire Sunday League President's Cup when they meet Ashton-on-Ribble in this year's final at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium, Bamber Bridge, on Wednesday (7.30pm).

United, managed by David Harrison, are currently in second spot in Division Two, three points behind 
leaders Bolton Lads and Girls Club.

Their leading scorer Ryan Kay has netted 20 to date this season, whilst Scott Harrison has chipped in with 13 
goals.

They have the division’s leading goalscorer in Chris Ward, who has bagged 30 in all competitions, whilst his strike partner Dominic Swarbrick has 10 goals to his name.

The match will be refereed by Phil Ryan, who will have John Wright and Fraser Pemberton as his assistants, with Jim Laflin on fourth official duties.

Admission is £4 for adults and £2 for children and concessions.
