PNE's trip to Newcastle switched for TV

Preston North End's trip to title-chasing Newcastle has been pushed back two days for TV coverage.

The Lilywhites will now travel to St James’ Park on Monday, April 24, with the game being live on Sky Sports.

PNE’s penultimate Championship away game of the season was originally set for Saturday, April 22, but has been switched with the Magpies currently top on goal difference and North End chasing a play-off place.

Simon Grayson’s side will be looking to set the record straight against Rafa Benitez’s Magpies having lost 6-0 in the North East in the EFL Cup back in October before going down 2-1 in the league game at Deepdale with Jermaine Beckford controversially denied a late penalty.
