Preston North End winger Kyel Reid has joined his former club Bradford City on a month’s loan.
Reid spent three seasons with the Bantams prior to joining PNE on a Bosman in June 2014.
The 27-year-old has endured a stop-start spell with North End, with him having arrived at Deepdale while still recovering from knee surgery.
He made 26 appearances in all competitions last season, 12 of those being starts.
This term, Reid’s only start came against Watford in the Capital One Cup in August, while he came off the bench in the games against Ipswich and Bournemouth.
He is expected to go straight into the Bradford side for their League One game at Rochdale on Saturday.
Bradford manager Phil Parkinson said: “Kyel’s an exciting player. He gets the crowd off their seats and he’s a bubbly character as well.
“He knows what we’re all about, the fans know him and understand his strengths and will get right behind him.
“Kyel had some terrific games for us, was unlucky with his injuries, but when he played you always felt he could put defences under pressure.”
