PNE to face Bournemouth in EFL Cup

Preston North End will travel to Premier League Bournemouth in the third round of the EFL Cup.

Bournemouth's Marc Wilson is congratulated after scoring what turned out to be the winner against Morecambe.

The Cherries were 2-1 winners over Morecambe on Wednesday night, North End having seen off Oldham in round two with a 2-0 win at Deepdale 24 hours earlier.

The tie will be played in the week commencing September 19.
