PNE extend Josh's loan at Barnsley
The 20-year-old joined the Tykes on a 28-day loan last month and has been on the winning side in all four of his matches for them.
North End have now agreed to let him remain at Oakwell until May although a recall option has been inserted in the deal - the recall will kick-in from February 11.

“They’re a great bunch of lads here. We’ve got some real momentum and are on a great run.
“We’re taking each game at a time but I’m excited about what we can achieve here with some big games coming up.
“This is a great club and I’m thankful to the gaffer here for putting his faith in me and trusting me in the games I’ve played so far.”

Talks are ongoing about a new deal, with the former Manchester United junior player now in the final few months of his current contract.
Speaking recently about Brownhill, PNE boss Simon Grayson said: “He is a good young player who I want here for the long term and for the long-term good of the club.”
