Preston North End have lined-up seven pre-season friendlies as part of the build-up to their return to the Championship.
Six of them are away, with the one game at Deepdale being against Hearts - who regained their place in the Scottish Premier League last month - on Saturday, July 18.
Simon Grayson’s men start their friendly campaign against Chorley at Victory Park on Saturday, July 11, kick-off 3pm.
They then go to the Sir Tom Finney Stadium to play Bamber Bridge on July 14 (7pm).
After Hearts’ visit, North End make the trip to Conference side Southport on July 21 (7pm) then play Carlisle United at Brunton Park on July 28 (7.15pm).
On July 29, PNE will send a side to Ashington Town who play in the Northern Football League and are managed by former England cricketer Steve Harmison - a friend of Grayson.
The friendlies are rounded-off with a visit to League One newcomers Bury on Saturday, August 1.
There looks to be scope for another game between the Southport and Carlisle fixtures.
