Preston are flying the flag for Lancashire football after a successful time on the pitch.
The city’s Under-11s team took part in the regional qualifier for the English Schools’ seven-a-side tournament at the JMO Sports Park in Skelmersdale and came out winners.
They topped their group, beating Blackburn 2-0 and Pendle 1-0, while they drew 0-0 with Chorley.
In the semi-final, they beat Hyndburn 2-0 with Kian Taylor and Kian Best scoring the goals.
That set them up with a meeting against West Lancs in the final, Finlay Cross-Adair scoring the winner in a 1-0 victory.
Preston will now go on to represent Lancashire in the northern finals.
