In the NPL First Division North, Bamber Bridge kept their play-off hopes on track with a 2-1 win over New Mills at Irongate.

Alex Taylor (50, 82) got both Brig goals after Raducio King (15) put the visitors in front.

Elsewhere, Clitheroe drew 2-2 at home to Cammell Laird.

Jamie Henders (37) put the visitors in front from the penalty spot but James Walker (76) and Daniel Wilkins (83) looked to have won it for Clitheroe. But James Foley (89) grabbed a point for Cammell Laird.

Kendal Town lost by the only goal at Ossett Town, Rob Branagan (48) on target.

Burscough won 2-1 at Padiham. Conor Roberts put the Linnets ahead after 33 minutes but Kieron Pickup (50) levelled the scores.

Jordan Williams (63) grabbed Burscough’s winner.

And there was also away-day joy for Lancaster City. They ran out 4-1 winners at Radcliffe Borough.

Jordan Connerton put the Dolly Blues in front as early as the second minute. Ryan Winder (10) made it 2-0 and Gavin Clark (17) added a third. Connerton (33) made it 4-0 before Bevan Burey (73) pulled a goal back.

In the Conference Premier, Southport drew 2-2 at Chester FC, Karl Ledsham getting both their goals.
