Midfield maestro Paul McKenna has committed his future to Bamber Bridge by signing a two-year contract with the club.
The ex-Preston North End star joined up with Neil Crowe’s NPL Division One North side earlier in the season.
The 37-year-old has been in fine form, putting in a string of impressive performances.
McKenna’s new deal will see him play at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium until 2017.
Crowe said: “Myself and the club are very happy that Paul has committed his future to us.
“It just shows the ambition of the club in being able to keep hold of a player of his calibre.
“The spine of the team is tied down now for the foreseeable future and now we can concentrate on the final six games and hopefully secure our goal.”
Brig have also secured the services of Fleetwood Town’s Michael Muscat until the end of the season after the defender rejoined on loan.
And Crowe has also bolstered his goalkeeping department by signing Altrincham’s Josh Samberg on loan until the end of the season.
