Morecambe boss shortlisted for League Two managerial prize

The Morecambe manager was shortlisted after taking 13 points from a possible 18 last month.

Though the Shrimps drew against Forest Green Rovers and lost to Newport County AFC, wins over Crawley Town, Carlisle United, Harrogate Town and Cheltenham Town kept them firmly in the promotion race.

Adams already has one monthly award to his name this season, having picked up December’s prize after his players took 15 points from 18 that month.

Also on the shortlist for March’s award are Ian Evatt (Bolton Wanderers), Rob Kelly (Barrow AFC) and Alex Revell Stevenage.

The winners are due to be announced on Friday morning.
