Last chance to vote for McGeady

Aiden McGeady is hoping to sign-off his loan spell with Preston North End by winning the Championship goal of the month award.

McGeady's 20-yard strike against Huddersfield Town at the John Smith's Stadium on Good Friday is shortlisted for the April award together with strikes from Brighton's Sebastian Pocognoli and Wolves winger Heldar Costa.

Voting is taking place on the Sky Sports website and the poll closes at 5pm on Monday.

Republic of Ireland international McGeady spent almost all of the season on loan with North End from Everton.

He scored eight goals in 33 appearances and won the PNE player of the year award.

North End will try to bring him back to Deepdale this summer and are in talks with the Toffees.

The March goal of the month award in the Championship was won by North End front man Tom Barkhuizen.
