Jack King has agreed a deal to join Scunthorpe United at the end of his contract with Preston North End.
The 29-year-old will move to Glanford Park on a two-year deal when his contract at Deepdale runs out on June 30.
King has spent three years with North End since joining them on a Bosman from Woking in the summer of 2012.
He made 102 appearances in a Lilywhites shirt - the last of those against Bristol City in April - scoring seven goals.
During his time with Preston, he filled a variety of positions, playing in midfield, up front, at right-back and centre-half.
King was not in the match day squad for PNE’s 4-0 win over Swindon in the play-off final at Wembley on Sunday.
