Ex-Preston North End goalkeeper coach Alan Kelly has joined David Unsworth's coaching staff at Everton.
Unsworth, himself a former North End coach, was given the caretaker manager role by Everton on Monday night after the sacking of Roland Koeman.
One of his first jobs was to bring in Kelly who left PNE in August after more than four years on the coaching staff.
Among the keepers who Kelly worked with at Deepdale was Jordan Pickford who is now the Toffees' No.1.
Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon, Unsworth said: "I have managed to bring in Alan Kelly, a goalkeeper coach.
"He got the last flight over from Ireland last night, interrupting a family holiday - I apologise to this family!
"Alan is with us now, I know him from my Preston days and he is a great goalkeeping coach."
